I am excited to have my thread painting, Great Horned Owl, included in the upcoming Birds 2 exhibit at @manormillgallery , along with works from many talented artists. The opening reception is this coming Saturday, May 16th from 2-5 pm. The exhibit runs through June 28.

I`ve been adding some final stitches to my Red Tailed Hawk thread painting today. I think it`s just about ready for framing. I`m really happy with the background fabric I used. It`s a piece that I ecoprinted and dyed with madder in a retreat in France with the amazing @iritdulman , so it`s very special to me.

Work in progress: For my latest thread painting, I decided to stitch the main subject first and then choose a background. So far, this ecoprinted fabric dyed with madder is my first choice. I`ll live with it a while before committing.
